COVID-19 Response

Since the world changed in March 2020, I have been seeing students exclusively remotely, which means I can work with students all over the world.

Here's a really great video on the math of epidemics, from the always fantastic 3blue1brown. I also wrote a blog post showing the math of how we might have been able to stop the disease, though it was based on an incorrect assumption about the strength of immunity conferred by a prior infection. It's based on my earlier post about herd immunity using measles as an example.
